You’ve probably heard how easy it is to start an affiliate business. This is partially true. It’s far easier that developing, selling and supporting your own product. But “easier” doesn’t mean “easy”.

The bad news…

And to make matters worse, you’ve taught to do it the hard way. You’ve been told to find quality products. Next to look for easy keywords to target. Then buy some keyword ads that send traffic to the product. And just enjoy the commissions. But this just won’t work!

Do CPA marketing instead of product promotion

CPA stands for Cost Per Action. It’s so much easier than promoting products. Because it doesn’t involve payment. Your commission is generated when they complete an “action”. Like completing a survey. And getting them to do this is so much easier.

Utilize demographics data

You’re not even going to use keywords (explained below.) But demographics are highly important. First, select the CPA offer you want to promote. Then hop over to Quantcast.com. And research what kinds of people will be interested.

Do image ad marketing

So far, you’ve got your CPA offer and your target demographics. Display networks allow you to target demographics with your ads. And use images as your ads. And there was no keyword research required. Plus you’re going to save a ton of money. Display networks charge a fraction for image ad clicks vs. keyword ads.

Summary

This is powerful method to make money online. Because you can start CPA marketing for free. It’s much cheaper to do image ads than keyword ads. You can laser target with demographics. And getting them to take an action is much easier than making a sale.
