Hi Dave
this is great fix you found there.

I have yet another problem with Camtasia and want to check if anyone else experienced it?

My last two screen recordings of 1.5 hr shows only 30mins of video?
I lost almost all of the recording. Ok, I found audio and video files and imported them into new project - the video file is ok - full length but the audio file did not recover.
The problem is that I am recording important calls I have using screen share and after this happened twice now I wrote to camtasia. IT's been 3 weeks back and forth with emails now and I am asking for a refund but I love camtasia and while they cannot tell me how to solve this, I hope that you might know? Let me know if you experienced similar prob, else I will have to battle with refunds and find alternative to camtasia. aS soon as I mentioned refund, no more emails... typical.
Thank you

OMG, thank you. I spent the entire day learning and recording Camtasia for my first training video. the video is so big, 8 minutes or so and then after several failed attempts, I record the videa and then decide to record the narration. I FINALLY get it timed just right, figure out the editing and record the audio and its sounds like I have had too much coffe and might be drunk! what the heck......thank you so much for the help. too tired tonight but will work through it all tomorrow. THANK YOU

That worked, I had to use the downloaded converter thing. But now there are no controls for the video.
