How To Make $50,000 A Year Online


If you want to make $50k this year, you’ll want to do the math.  That’s $4,166 each month.

How many products to you need to generate $4,000 (rounded down) each month?

Let’s just say you’re selling an average priced ebook at $27.  That’s 454 ebooks that you will need to sell each month! 

Granted, you will want to mix in some higher priced sales during that month to lessen that number.  But this will give you an idea.

Now, the real factor is how much traffic you’ll need to send to your site that converts to 454 sales. 

Consider that the average conversion rate is 2%, you’ll need 20,000 targeted visitors each month to get over 400 sales.

If you have money to spend, then PPC is the fastest method of getting traffic to your site, but it’s not for the beginner.  There is a steep learning curve at first.

How many JV partners do you need to endorse your product to get 450 sales? 

Depends on their list size.  But if you get 4 JV  partners with list sizes of 5,000 each who agree to endorse your product, then it’s very possible to achieve your goal. 

 Of course, if you’re selling a higher priced product, then adjust these figures respectively.  But this provides you with the formula.

Nutty Disclaimer: It will take work.   But the payoff can be huge.

    I took a look at your site and from a prospect’s point of view, I see nothing that says “what’s in it for me?”

    You also say, “we plan to..” which tells me you’re not the place to come to YET, so I’m moving on.

    You should also get rid of the animated domain name. You don’t need that. Instead you need an enticing Headline that immediately tells your visitor the greatest benefit of your site and why what you’re offering is worth their time.

    The solution?

    Put up a simple “name squeeze” page offering free information targeted to your niche. Give them only ONE decision to make only. They either opt-in or they leave. That’s it.

    If they opt-in, THEN you have a chance to tell them about your downloadble products that are related to the information they opted in to receive.

    For example, if you’re specializing in helping affiliate marketers, then offer a report about an aspect of affiliate marketing, then you can recommend products related to affiliate marketing and Internet Marketing in the future.

    So my sugggestion is to scrap that page and put up a “name squeeze” opt-in page.
