How To Start Your Own Affiliate Program in 48 Hours

Do you have a product or service that needs a sales boost?

Ok, that’s a “Yes” question. Everyone wants a boost in sales, right?

Not only that, wouldn’t it be great to get that increase with no outlay from your pocket?

That’s what having Affiliates is all about. It’s like having your very own “army” of sales reps using their time and energy, and resources to bring you business.

But it’s a win-win for you both.

You get the f’ree traffic and sales, and your affiliates get a stream of commissions.

[Side Note] If you’re selling low cost, non-tangible high profit info products and/or services, then you should be paying them above average for their time. It’s common to pay 50% and above.

After all, you want your affiliates to have a darn good reason to spend their time and effort on promoting YOUR products, right?

Here’s the quickest, easiest way to get an affiliate program started in the next 48 hours . .

The quickest and easiest method is to take advantage of Clickbank.com

Clickbank will accept the payment for you and pay your affiliates on time, like clockwork, every 2 weeks. You never have to write a check or track anything. A huge problem solved for the newbie!

It costs $49.95 to get your first account setup. This is a one time fee. Afterwards, you can get additional accounts for $29.95

*Keep in mind that 1 account can accomodate up to 500 products!

However, you will want a separate account for a product that you want listed in the Marketplace so affiliates can find it.

In other words, if you setup 1 account for “Product A” and sell 50 other products under that account.. only “Product A” the first product) will be listed in the Marketplace. The other 49 will never be seen.

I learned this the hard way. No one tells you this when you’re just getting started. I don’t recall Clickbank spelling it out. Either way, now you know :-)

Just go to https://www.clickbank.com/sell_products.html to get full details on becoming a “Publisher”. They have a large F.A.Q. (frequently asked questions) section that will answer most, if not all, of your questions about using their service.

Clickbank may be the obvious choice for many. But most importantly, it is the quickest and easiest way to get going ASAP.

There are so many other options to setting up an affiliate program and managing affiliates.

I’ve used at least 3 other management tools over the past few years. And can recommend them if you want to browse their sites to see if they’re for you.

1. Easy Clickmate

2. Affiliate Page Pro (New)

3. Ultimate Affiliate Manager
(Combines hosting, affiliate program management, built-in support desk, etc, etc)

There you have it, a quick and easy way to get your affiliate program started in the next 48 hours.

Here’s what I would do from here.

Get setup with Clickbank. Again, this is for digital products only (not for physical products). Try PayDotCom.com or 2CheckOut.com for selling tangible products.

This will give you exposure in their Marketplace. However, you won’t show up in the marketplace until you get your first sale. So keep that in mind.

But to get around this, you can buy from yourself to get past this. You just have to set the price to meet the $3 minimum requirement.

Now, get Affiliate Page Pro and set it up on your domain and create a file named “affiliates.html” to place it in.

This would look like www.nameofyourproducthere.com/affiliates.html (for example). You can see a “live” example by checking out what my affiliate page for ResellRightsBootcamp.com looks like here http://www.resellrightsbootcamp.com/affiliates/

Create some Ads, an article, and include a few graphic banners, or product graphics, etc

Graphics can cost anywhere from $14 to over 100.00. In my experience, the more you pay, the higher quality of design.

I’ve recently used http://www.planet-divinity.com/graphics.html for a Report cover graphic for 14 bucks. It was a decent cover for what I paid. You can see some examples on their site.

Once you have these things in place, do everything you can to focus on Affiliate Recruiting to find and convince affiliates to join your affiliate program.

Now you have a complete system and action plan to get going with your own affiliate program as quickly as possible.

Hope this helps you!

P.S. If you prefer a ‘take you by the hand’, “what you need to do and how to do it”, simple “point, click and follow the steps” system, then then I highly recommend that you click here to check out the Affiliate Dashboard
